Cindy Post Senning, Ed.D. is Emily Post’s great-granddaughter and a spokesperson and author for The Emily Post Institute. Cindy and Peggy have co-authored Emily's Everyday Manners, The Gift of Good Manners: A Parent’s Guide to Raising Respectful, Kind, Considerate Children and The Guide to Good Manners for Kids. Cindy conducts seminars and manners classes for children across the country. Her professional background includes nearly 30 years in education and health care. She holds a doctorate in education from the University of Vermont; and is a former elementary school principal, teacher and registered nurse. Her media interviews include Newsweek, MSNBC.com, The Wall Street Journal, FOX News, and Better Homes & Gardens.
Peggy Post, Emily Post’s great-granddaughter-in-law, is a spokesperson and author for the Emily Post Institute. Peggy is co-author with her sister-in-law Cindy Post Senning of Emily’s Everyday Manners, The Gift of Good Manners (for parents), and The Guide to Good Manners for Kids+ (for 8-12 year olds). Peggy’s books also include the 17th edition of Emily Post’s Etiquette and Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette. Peggy writes a monthly column in Good Housekeeping magazine.
