Should spectators be ejected from sporting events for obnoxious behavior?

Yes: 89% (705 out of 795)
No: 11% (90 out of 795)

Overall, the responses to last week's poll supported ejecting obnoxious fans from the game. The comments reflected a variety of issues ranging from the personal rights of the obnoxious fan versus the personal rights of the other spectators to the behavior of the athletes themselves.

The bottom line in this issue is that the management of the event has the responsibility to set and enforce the standards for behavior. These standards and the consequences for not meeting them should be made clear to all spectators when tickets are purchased. The management needs to respond when fans are behaving outside of the standard. If management does not support the standards they've set; unfortunately, the only practical recourse fans have is to not attend.
