Choosing Your Roommates

You’ll need to decide how many people you want to live with. Aha! This is a difficult question if you’ve never lived with roommates before. Here are some points to consider when determining how many people you can comfortably live with:

Every additional roommate brings their own set of friends with them. If you share a house with four people, that means five groups of friends will be cycling through your home. Is this something you’re prepared to handle?
The more roommates there are, the more complicated it becomes to manage household responsibilities.
Do you crave privacy or need absolute quiet to concentrate? If so, you may do best with one or two roommates—or even a place of your own, if you can afford it.
